The Senders screen allows you to configure both sender names and sender domains used to send messages to customers. These sender names and domains that will be visible to the customer in the sent messages.
Sender Names
The Sender Name appears on outgoing emails as the sender email address and is
visible to the customer. Valid sender names are configured to standardize how your
company or executive names are used. All sent messages are only delivered using a
pre-defined sender name.
Note: The sender name is for display and recognition
purposes only and is not an actual email address. Email addresses are
automatically generated at the time of mailing.
Sender Domains
Sender domains are the names of the domain being used to send the message to the customer. That is, 'yourcompany' in the email address '[email protected]' is the sender name for the email address. The domain name helps mask the specific IP address being used in the sending of the message.
