SMPP Senders are associated with outgoing messages to customers to provide the user with
a familiar name or number from which the message is sent. Typically the senders are
phone numbers or common tags associated with your organization.
Note: Before you can
activate an SMPP server, you must have at least one sender associated with the
server.
