Twitter Delivery Channel

The Twitter delivery channel allows Connect to post Twitter status updates and direct messages.

• Each instance of the Twitter delivery channel is associated with a single Twitter ID and a single Twitter application created for this ID.
• When the Twitter delivery channel is used in an Event-Triggered campaign, it will deliver a Twitter Direct Message to the recipient.
  Note: Each recipient of a Direct Message must be a follower of the delivery channel’s Twitter ID.
• When the Twitter delivery channel is used in a normal campaign, it will post a single status update for the Twitter ID. Followers of the Twitter ID will see the status update in their Twitter feeds.

The Twitter DM delivery channel may be used to deliver notifications to multiple Twitter applications. Each application must be configured as a separate delivery channel, with a unique name, Twitter ID, Twitter Access Tokens, and customer attribute to store the customer's Twitter ID.
