Connect provides a specific type of preference called a 'MultiAddress' preference. This
preference is used to accommodate customers that have multiple devices that can be used
to respond to messages. For example, different preferences can be created for using
Android phones or iOS phones.
Note: MultiAddress preferences are created as a data type
that is unbounded and allows multiple values. You cannot change these attributes of
a MultiAddress preference.

Adding a New MultiAddress Preference
To add a new MultiAddress preference:
- On the menu bar, click Customers. The Customer Browser screen
appears.
- In the Customer sub-menu, click Preferences. The Preferences
screen appears.
- From the Preferences dropdown, click MultiAddress Preference.
The Enter Preference Information screen appears.

- Enter the preference name in the Preference Name field.
- If you do not wish to save the preference, click the Cancel button.
The Preferences screen returns with the preference not having been
saved.
- Click the Save button. The Preferences screen appears and the
new preference is added.
