You are able to clone or copy existing campaigns allowing you to make changes to the cloned campaign and save it as if it were a new campaign. This is particularly useful if you wish to create a complex campaign that is based on an existing campaign, or are making campaigns based on expired campaigns. Cloning campaigns is also good for creating a large number of campaigns based on a single campaign.
Cloning a Campaign
To clone a campaign:- Navigate to the Campaigns screen. A list of campaigns displays.
- Search for the desired campaign and select it. For more information on how to search for campaigns, please see Searching for Campaigns.
- Click on the Clone Campaign (
) icon beside the desired campaign. A cloning
confirmation message displays.
- To cancel without cloning the campaign, click the Cancel button. The Campaigns page displays without the campaign having been copied.
- Click the OK button. The Campaigns page displays with the newly copied with the generated name 'Copy of [Campaign Name](ID=XXX)' with 'XXX' being the newly created ID number for the campaign.
