This section provides you with example for configuring an Automated Main Message.

Consider a campaign Pacific News Letter with the following details.

Campaign Name: Pacific News Letter
Conversation Name: News Letter
Subscribed customers: 100,000

Scenario 1:

Description: Select the best message for the customers who have not received trial messages.
Criteria for Automatic Main Message: Select subject and content from the winning trial message,
Choose message that has crossed the threshold for: Both content AND subject.

Note: You can also choose content OR subject for this scenario as Connect does not check the e-mail open rate and message click rate against any threshold values.

Scenario 2:

Description: Select a message with email open rate more than or equal to 40% AND message click rate more than or equal to 30% as Winning Message and send it as the main message to the targeted customers.
Criteria for Automatic Main Message: Select subject and content from the winning trial message.
Choose message that has crossed the threshold for: Both content AND subject.

Send best trial automatically instead if thresholds are not met by: Never

Choose message that has crossed the threshold for: Content OR Subject

Note: Although T3 has a higher e-mail open rate, it is not the subject winner since it is not a candidate for subject winner. T1 is not the content winner because it is not a candidate for the content winner. A new message is created if the subject winner and the content winner have different trial messages.

Scenario 7:

Description: Combine the best subject from T1, T2 and T3 with an email open rate more than or equal to 40% and the best content from T2 and T3 with a message click rate more than or equal to 30%.
Criteria for Automatic Main Message: Combine the best subject and best content from existing trials.

Note: A new message is created only if the subject winner and the content winner are different trial messages.

Description: Combine the best subject from T1, T2 and T3 with an email open rate more than or equal to 60% and best content from T1, T2 and T3 with a message click rate more than or equal to 40% or combine the best subject and content, if thresholds are not met by 14-Aug-2013 20:00:00.
Criteria for Automatic Main Message: Combine the best subject and best content from existing trials.
