The Deployment Editor screen is where you begin to create a deployment. The screen
displays the number of deployments you have available.
Create a New Deployment
Follow these directions to create a new deployment.
- From the Deployment Editor screen, click the Create Deployment
button. The Create Deployment - Deployment Info screen appears.
- In the Deployment Name field, type a unique name for the
deployment.
- In the Connect System Info section, User Name field, type the
Connect system user name.
- In the Password field, type the password. Make a note of both the
User Name and Password for the system administrators if
there is more than one administrator.
- In the Connect Deployment Base Directory field, type the base
directory location.
- In the Base Listen Port for Components field, type the port
number.
- In the S/FTP Info section, the User Name field, type the user
name for the FTP application.
- In the Password field, type the password for the FTP
application.
- Click the Save button. Several tabs appear.
Edit a Deployment
Follow these directions to edit a deployment.
- From the Deployment Editor screen, click the name of the deployment
you want to edit. Either the Edit tab appears or the Dashboard
screen appears.
- Make your changes.
- Click the Save button.
Copy a Deployment
A deployment can be copied only from the deployment details. Follow these directions
to copy a deployment.
- From the Deployment Editor screen, click the name of the deployment you want
to copy. Either the Edit tab appears or the Dashboard screen
appears.
- Click Commands > Copy. The deployment is copied and appears in the
left-side screen.
