Domain-specific control over disabling
When CONNECT tries to send email to a domain and experiences repeated failures, it will disable the domain
for a certain period of time, and then retry sending to the domain later. The number of failures required
to disable a domain, and the amount of time the domain will be disabled are controlled globally with system
parameters.
CONNECT 10r5.2.1 adds a way to override these global values on a per-domain basis.
The following values may be specified for each domain:
- Disable Failures -- number of send failures required to disable the
domain.
- Disable Minutes -- minimum number of minutes to disable the domain.
- Disable Max Minutes -- maximum number of minutes to disable the domain.
- Warning Max Failures -- alert administrator to blocked domain when this many
failures occur.
These new domain settings are available in the Company Admin -> Deliverability -> Domains screen.
