New Features

URL Event Parameters

If an event parameter is of URL type, CONNECT will automatically add the URL to the Link Aliasing tables when it is received. In prior versions of CONNECT, a URL stored in a string-valued event parameter would not be aliased and would not be tracked properly. Moreover, clicking the URL in an email would redirect to the default URL for the company or conversation.

Enhancements to Double Opt-In Feature

Double opt-in can be confirmed by clicking a link, in addition to replying to a message. The clickable link to confirm the double opt-in is included in the email using the following merge tag:

<%[subscribeOptIn()]%>

Unique X-Header value in outgoing messages

CONNECT can be configured to include an X-Header that is unique for each combination of Segment and Content. The primary use of this feature is to allow deliverability monitoring services to monitor inbox vs. spam folder placement on a per-campaign basis.

User-Agent strings automatically categorized

The User Agent report shows the user-agent (browser identifier) strings collected during click and open processing. CONNECT 10r5.2.0 automatically parses these strings and populates fields such as platform, browser family, and browser version to allow more meaningful aggregate reports of customer browser usage.

Global and Per-Company Mail Farms and SMPP Senders

Mail Farms and SMPP Senders can be per-company or global. A per-company resource is configured in the Company Admin tab and is only visible to that company. A global resource is configured in the Instance Admin tab and is visible to all companies that are entitled to use the global resources.

KANA Lagan CRM Integration

CONNECT 10r5.2.0 can be used as a campaign management add-on to KANA Lagan CRM.
