Creating Suppression Lists

Suppression lists are created as containers of email addresses that will never be messaged under any circumstances. Once the suppression list is created, email addresses can be imported into the list. The list of email addresses can then be applied to conversations, removing the email addresses from the conversation and campaign. This ensures that the email addresses will not be messaged in the context of the campaign.

Creating a Suppression List

To create a suppression list:

  1. In the Campaigns screen, click on the Suppression List sub-tab. The Suppression List screen appears.

  2. From the Suppression List dropdown, select 'New Suppression List'. The Edit Suppression List screen appears.

  3. Enter the suppression list details:
    • Name: The name of the suppression list
    • Description: A description for the suppression list
  4. To cancel without saving the suppression list, click the Cancel button. The Suppression List screen appears. The suppression list is not created.
  5. Click the Save button. The Suppression List screen appears. The suppression list is created and displayed in the list of suppression lists.
