Content System Parameters

The following table describes the Content set of system parameters.

233 MS.DisplayTextLength Content Advanced Access Length of display text for a link name Indicates the length in characters for an HTML link in a message. That is, for an AOL/MPA HTML message, Connect sends special text with links aliased in an HTML tag.

(i.e. <a href=link> original link </a>)

The user will see 'original link'. However, if the link displayed is too long, Connect truncates it so that it will not wrap in some email clients.

If you would like to receive only plain text messages, please reply to this message and put "Change to text" in the subject.

This parameter value is displayed on top the panel, beside the Security Profile section. This is used because Connect may be installed on different environments (e.g.Development, Staging, QA, Production). This text is used to display the environment. This is particularly helpful to allow the Brick Street Support team to see which environment is being used when following up on an issue. This can also be used internally to visually determine which area is being used by the user.
