A wireless domain is necessary to configure in Connect to use email-to-text functionality. The message gateway refers to the gateway operated by a wireless carrier.
Creating a New Wireless Domain
To create a new wireless domain:
- Navigate to the Instance Admin screen. The System Parameters
screen displays.
- Click on the Messaging sub-menu in the menu bar on the left, followed
by the Wireless Domains menu option. The Wireless Domains
screen appears.
- From the Commands dropdown, select New Wireless
Domain.
The Define New Wireless Domain screen displays.
- Enter the name of the wireless domain in the WirelessDomain Name field.
- To cancel without saving the wireless domain, click the Cancel button. The Wireless Domain screen appears. The wireless domain is not saved and does not appear in the list of wireless domains.
- Click the Save button. The Wireless Domain screen appears. The wireless domain is saved and appears in the list of wireless domains.
