Administrative Tools / Instance Admin Overview |
Once an external event occurs (e.g. opening an email, clicking a link in a message) Connect has processes in place to track the occurrence of the event and perform actions as a result of the event occurring. Connect uses the Java Message Service (JMS) event handling services to create log files for reporting or other actions such as triggering an action based on the event occurring. For example, a customer changing their account password would be an event. Connect sending a message to the customer confirming that they changed their password is an action triggered by that event. The Event Handling screen allows you to manage events and the actions that follow a triggering event.
