Security Profiles in Connect control the access to actions and pages that users are able to access. Different security profiles are create for different users and department groups in order to access the application appropriately. For example, end users that create and manage campaigns would have different access to Connect than those users who administer the company or instances of Connect. You are also able to provide the user with the ability to create/edit a campaign, view reports, override lockdowns, and more. Normally, groups are assigned to a security profile, but individual users are able to be assigned a profile as well.
