It may be necessary to delete event handlers that are no longer valid or in use.
These are deleted in the Event Handlers screen. When deleting an event handler,
the event handler must not be active. Ensure that the event handler is deactivated prior
to deleting it. For more information on deactivating event handlers, please see Deactivating Event Handlers.
Note: Ensure that the
event handler that you wish to delete is not being used by any other users prior to
deletion.
Deleting an Event Handler
To delete an event handler:
- Navigate to the Company Admin screen.
- Click on the Event Handlers menu item under the Campaigns side
menu.
The Event Handlers screen appears.
- Ensure that the event handler is not active. The status dot in the
Status field should be red in colour.
- Select the Delete icon (
) beside the desired event handler.
The delete confirmation message appears.
- To cancel without deleting the event handler, click the Cancel button. You are returned to the Event Handlers screen with the event handler still displayed in the event handlers list.
- Click the OK button. The event handler is deleted and removed from the event handlers list.
