In the Connect UI, go to Company Admin -> Campaigns -> Delivery Channels. In the Command menu, select New Delivery Channel.
The Enter Delivery Channel Information screen will appear. The top section of the
screen contains generic information about the delivery channel.
- Name
- Type - should be set to 'iOS Push'
- Address Attribute ID - should be set to the customer attribute that will contain the iOS device token for the mobile app
The Upload button is used to upload the certificate used to connect to the APNS servers.
The certificate should have been downloaded from the Apple iOS Provisioning Portal and
converted to a .p12 file.
Note: The Java cryptography libraries require the .p12
certificate file to have a password.
In the General Settings section, you can select whether the delivery channel should use the sandbox or production APNS servers. You also need to supply the certificate password here.
The Proxy Settings control whether the delivery channel code uses a proxy to connect to the APNS servers. The proxy settings are optional.
Click Save when you have completed this page.
