Quiet periods are times blocked out when there is no activity. In this
case, the quiet period applies to the entire Connect system.
When you define a quiet period, you choose the start time, end
time and day.
Add a New Quiet Period
Follow these directions to add a new quiet period.
- From the System Quiet Periods screen,
click Commands > New System Period. The
Edit Quiet Period screen appears.
- From the Start Time drop-down fields,
select the hour, minute, and whether you want the
quiet period in the morning or evening.
- From the End Time drop-down fields,
make the same selections.
- From the Day drop-down field, select
the day you want.
- Click the Save button. The System
Quiet Periods screen appears with the quiet
period in the list.
Edit Quiet Period
Follow these directions to edit a quiet period.
- From the System Quiet Periods screen,
click Actions > Edit on the row with the
quiet period you want to change. The Edit Quiet
Period screen appears.
- Make your changes.
- Click the Save button. The System
Quiet Periods screen appears with your
changes.
Delete Quiet Period
Follow these directions to delete a quiet period.
- From the System Quiet Periods screen,
click Actions > Delete. A confirmation
dialog box appears.
- Click OK in the dialog box. The quiet
period is removed from the list.
