When you configure the Informatica server, the Server Variables area lets you set the
folder to which each variable points. In this way, you can change your file system
layout without changing the information in every session; rather, you can just change it
in the Server Variables area. To do this:
- In the Server Manager’s menu bar, choose Server Configuration, Edit Server. The Server dialog opens.
- Click the Advanced button.
- In the Server Variables area, set the attribute value for $PMRootDir. In the example shown here, the attribute value for $PMRootDir is set to /clientZone.
