Security: Users and Folders

Each repository user needs a username and password to access the repository. Each user is assigned to one or more repository user groups. When you assign a username to a group, you grant the user every privilege granted to the group. You can also assign privileges to users individually.

In addition to user privileges, you can grant folder permissions to users. Permissions allow repository users to perform tasks within a folder. To perform tasks within a folder a user must have the privilege to perform the task in the repository, as well as the applicable folder permission.
