Configure Customers for Wireless Domain

Follow these directions to configure a wireless domain.

  1. From Connect main screen, select Customers > Customer Browser. The Customer Search screen appears.
  2. In Customer Search screen, you can do one of the following:
    • Click the Create a New Customer button to create a new customer. The Customer Profile screen appears.
    • Search to find an existing customer. Click the edit icon to display the Customer Profile screen for the selected customer.
  3. In the Customer Profile screen, add or edit customer information as appropriate.
  4. In the SMS Number field, type the customer's phone number
  5. In the Content Type field select Short Text from the drop-down list.
  6. Click the Update button to save the customer profile.
Note: When upgrading from Connect prior releases, a new profile needs to be created for any existing customer, for whom you want to send SMS messages.
