To access the Customer Browser from within Connect, choose Customers > Customer Browser from anywhere in the system. The system will bring you to the Customer Search page. Once you're in the Customer Browser part of the application you can always return to the Customer Search page by clicking the Customer Search tab.
Response CSRs can access the Customer Browser by submitting the email address of a customer via a link in Response. If the Connect system does not recognize the email address, it will take them to the Customer Search page, and they can manually search the database for customer information.
You can use the Customer Browser search page to initiate a search for a customer based on their email address, Connect customer ID, or alternate customer ID. You can also initiate the process of manually adding a new customer from this page.
Click Add a New Customer when you need to manually add a new customer to the Connect system. The system will automatically bring you to the Customer Profile page, where you can begin by defining the customer's background information (name, address, phone number and birthdate).
You can use this page to search for customers with a particular e-mail address, Connect customer ID or alternate customer ID. Use the drop-down list box to select the type of address or ID that you want to search for. Then enter the exact address or ID in the open field.
After specifying your search criteria, click the Go button to launch the search.
