The user interface is designed for quick navigation. The active areas can be invoked when you mouse over a particular spot on the window. The windows in Connect are set up to navigate through the main tabs, with additional navigation devices as explained in this help system.
At the top of every window are four tabs for the main modules: Customers, Campaigns, Reports, and Admin. See example:

Each of these four major areas contains sub-level tabs you use to navigate within the specific module. See example, below:

Everything you enter and each of your choices and selections within each window are automatically saved. However, in windows with an OK and Cancel button you can choose to explicitly save or restore the prior settings. You must choose one of these options before you exit the page.
